This programme focuses on strengthening policy and legal frameworks that embed business and human rights standards within African governance systems. It supports national action planning, legislative reform, and institutional accountability mechanisms.

This programme supports businesses, regulators, and stakeholders to strengthen human rights due diligence, responsible sourcing, and corporate accountability within regional and global supply chains.

This programme addresses the human rights implications of climate action, extractives, land use, and transition minerals, ensuring that sustainability and energy shifts are equitable and community-centred.

This programme responds to emerging digital harms and opportunities by promoting responsible technology governance, digital human rights due diligence, and ethical AI approaches that protect dignity and justice.

Civil Society Resilience

This programme strengthens the legal, governance, and institutional capacity of civil society organisations across Africa, enabling them to navigate shrinking civic space, meet regulatory and donor compliance requirements, and sustain their mission in increasingly hostile operating environments.
