Responsible Business Institute Africa (RBI Africa) is an independent, non-partisan policy research and advocacy institute headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. The institute exists to advance responsible business practice, corporate accountability, and access to remedy across Africa.
RBI Africa is designed as a think-and-do institute, combining evidence generation, legal and policy engagement, movement building, and practical institutional support. It is positioned to respond to the growing need for African-led expertise on business and human rights, especially in the context of global supply chains, extractives, digital transformation, climate transition, and corporate governance.
The institute’s work is rooted in the African context while remaining globally relevant.
